TORBA
The north side of the peninsula offers a mild climate in summer thanks to a constant breeze.
Lonely bays and small beaches invite you to sunbathe and swim. Torba itself adorns itself with a small harbor and quaint fish restaurants provide for the physical well-being. Holidays in Torba are particularly recommended for guests who prefer small but fine holiday areas with modern hotel facilities. If you follow the traces of the past, you will find relics such as a preserved elegiac rotunda, probably a tomb, and the ruins of a Byzantine monastery. The Temple of Apollo in Didyma can also be easily visited by ferry from Torba.
BITEZ
In this picturesque place, the lush green of the citrus and tangerine groves dominates.
The village, located a little further inland, is also known for its large cultivation area of tangerines. But Bitez is also characterized by very good spring water, the pretty sandy beach and the cozy restaurants.
Holidays with the whole family in Bitez: Since the beach slopes gently, it is very inviting for children to splash around and play. Despite numerous hotels and restaurants located directly on the beach, the place is still original. In Bitez, traditional country life on the Turkish-Aegean coast is combined in the most pleasant way with a range of water sports (e.g. windsurfing) that meets all requirements. Bitez is also well known among windsurfers worldwide.
GÜMÜSLÜK
Gümüslük, around 23 kilometers from Bodrum, is the perfect holiday destination for gourmets of marine cuisine.
Today's attractiveness consists in the offer of the numerous restaurants of this small fishing village, known and loved for well-prepared fish dishes. The historic town of Gümüslük, called Myndos in ancient times, was then ruled by King Mausolus. The history of the small settlement can be read on the wooden plaque on the shore of the harbor bay. Accordingly, the place was already inhabited in prehistoric times.
