FETHIYE
Fethiye is located at the southern end of the Taurus Mountains, where a fertile valley opens up to the large bay with its countless small islands.
The Mediterranean climate with an average of 30 degrees Celsius in summer and mild, humid temperatures in winter ensure a rich flora. Lush green meadows and the variety of spices that thrive here not only pamper the eyes but also beguile with the scent. Oludeniz's "Blue Lagoon" is often referred to as Eden on Earth. And rightly so: as soon as you hit a stretch of beach, a blaze of color in all shades of green and blue glitters.
DALAMAN
Since some of the bays can only be reached by sea, the so-called "Blue Voyages" are perfect for visiting these natural beauties. Since Dalaman has had an international airport, the small town with around 18,000 inhabitants has been a tourist magnet for beach holidays. The proximity to the mountains also makes Dalaman interesting for visitors who want to be active and like to hike or climb. Whether snorkeling, sailing, surfing or hiking, the region offers a great variety of activities. Dalaman also has a lot to offer for gourmets. Cozy harbor restaurants serve traditional Turkish and international dishes. A special delicacy is the fir honey (çam bali), which is obtained in the area around Marmaris.
MARMARIS
Due to the Mediterranean climate, swimming in the sea is possible here even in winter.
The picture of the natural landscape of Marmaris is characterized by high and dense mountain ranges that surround the area, as well as forests with pine trees, the world's extremely rare sweetgum tree and the large-leaved plane tree. The castle of Marmaris, which was built by the Ionians, characterizes the image of the city and today serves as an archaeological museum. Marmaris also attracts international nightlife. Open-air discotheques are very popular and well frequented. Walks along the coast or through the Netsel Marina invite you to dream. If you like it even more romantic, you can book a moonlight tour and set sail on a boat around midnight.
